Loopless — Delete Your Account
Loopless is published by Samuvel Pandian. If you signed in to Loopless with your
Google account and want your account and associated data deleted, you can request
it here.
How to request deletion
Email us from the Google account you used to sign in to Loopless — this is how we
verify the request — with the subject "Delete my Loopless account":

If the button doesn't open your mail app, send an email to
samuvelpandian@gmail.com with the
subject "Delete my Loopless account".
What gets deleted
- Your Loopless account (the sign-in record linked to your Google account).
- Your profile data: display name and streak history stored in our cloud database.
- All of your leaderboard entries (your daily solve times and name shown on the
public leaderboard).
What is kept
- Nothing tied to your identity. After deletion, no data that can
identify you remains in our systems.
- Aggregated, anonymous analytics (e.g. "a puzzle was solved") cannot be linked
back to you and are retained per
Firebase's data retention
policies.
- Data stored only on your device (local streaks and solve times when not signed
in) is under your control and is removed by uninstalling the app or clearing the
app's storage.
Timing
We complete deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by reply
email once done.
Alternative: partial deletion
If you only want your name off the public leaderboard but wish to keep your
account, say so in your email and we will remove your leaderboard entries only.
